Lismore City Council is constructing a carpark with solar shade structure, and including a 75kW DC fast charger capable of charging two cars at once (presumably a Tritium RTM75):

Clyde Campbell Solar Carpark

This appears to be an independent venture by the council, not associated with any fast charging network.

Interesting callouts are that the charger is designed to be removable in advance of flooding events, and they are building conduits with pull ropes to every column for future addition of more chargers.

Very good for a Council that has a huge burden on its shoulders! (Funded by the Feds):

"The key purpose of this infrastructure, and the alignment with the ‘Drought Communities’ grant, is to demonstrate leadership in addressing the climate related causes of drought and other natural disasters through sustainable technologies. The solar carpark will harness renewable energy to provide charging stations for EV users and much needed shade for CBD users and their vehicles. Excess solar energy will be fed back into the electricity grid."

That's good to see, but wouldn't the logical answer have been to put the charger out of flood?
The CBD goes well under water, but adjacent suburbs like Lismore Heights and Goonellabah do not. I'd have put it up there.

Probably also a function of where council have large carparks, and proximity to shops and other amenities.
I was there during the floods and all the proximate shops and amenities got flooded. And it all happened again one month later! Right now it's a bit of a ghost town and many of the shops may never reopen. Especially now that the government is talking buybacks.
I'm also very dubious of the 'removable' chargers. After seeing the disorganized flood response I'm very dubious that the council will remove chargers when they are in the middle of evacuating people.

It's great to see charging infrastructure, but I'd put it on the hill near to the Bruxner highway.

Awesome to see, but is that just a single CCS2 plug? I wouldn't want to rely on a single plug for charging in case its occupied.
Casino and Ewingsdale each have two and Ballina has three, so I know where I would be headed...
