Lost navigation functions

I recently noticed that I could no longer use the right button to call or navigate on my M3. Also the navigate window disappeared not to be recalled and I couldn’t open the glove box or the Frunk from the screen. Probably this is setting off light bulbs for many of you but it was not until I spoke to Service that it was pointed out that I had accidentally put the vehicle into VALET MODE. A quick fix. I feel a little dumb but a lot relieved.
