Lately, when I first enter the car after it's been parked in the heat (Texas, nism?) I get a pretty loud vibration or hammering noise from what sounds like the AC compressor. It correlates with the fan speed, which also gets a lot louder. At first I thought it might be an unbalanced fan rattling at high speed, but the fan actually makes a separate sound that seems ok.
I know there were some complaints about the S compressor being loud at full speed; I wonder if this is in spec or it's time for the SC.
I didn't notice this for the first few weeks after I picked up the car in early May. It wasn't as hot then, but the AC also ran full speed at first, judging by the fan speed. Maybe some update increased the max compressor rpm.
