Do you mind sharing how much you paid for the installation? My shop is saying “6 hours” thus triggering a higher than expected instal quote. Thanks.

I'm quoted $100 an hour. He says could take 3-6 hours in MI

Thanks all. I was quoted $570 for what I’m told is a 6-hour gig so seems like a bit on the high side but par for the course in Chicago. Second quote (declined) was for $700 (8-hour time estimate).

The bottom of my comfort coil perches have 4 threads from the bottom and my battery pack is about 4.5 inches above the ground. I can lower it another 1/4” with the 4 threads, but I think that is too low for the parkades and driveways I visit. This pic is after the suspension settled and I had to drop the front coils about 1/4” to match the rear as the battery in the front was 4.75” and the rear was 4.5” from the ground.

I’m a little lower than recommended at the moment. I have an appointment for installing MPP’s new UCA next week and I may raise it a 1/4 to 1/2” for the winter.
