Lowering model y standard

Is there lowering springs for model y standard? I have looked online and only found lowering for the standard performance or long range. Have guys lowered their standards? Can you cut the stock springs or will that make the ride harsh? Tia

They all share the same core suspension. Should be interchangable.

haha yea don't cut springs. That's never an option.

OP should consider matching lowering springs with a pair of performance struts for a long term solution if coilovers is not an option. Koni and Tein are viable strut solutions.

You couldn't cut the stock springs even if you wanted to. They're tapered, so would no longer seat after cutting.

For anyone wanting to know….h&r makes lowering springs for tesla model y standard. Says it drops an estimated 40mm or 1.5 inches. To low for my liking but the option is out there.

i couldn't find anything specifically for the model y standard range. Do you guys know if this H&R product will fit the SR Model Y?

do you have a link to the product? I went to the H&R website and they dont' even show an application for the SR, they only have LR and Performance AWD

nvm, I found my answer. the 2023 SR AWD is a newer model, i don't htink there's any compatible lowering springs yet. Guess will just have to wait.

Shouldn't matter. Chassis and suspension is the same design through the three trims. Mix and match to your hearts content.
