My delivery is scheduled for Friday in St. Louis, so if it’s 2-3 days from shipping I guess I should expect delivery to be pushed back?

Not sure I understand your point. In Two days your car will be on the truck. Then there’s the driving time to get it to the St Louis SC. They need a day to prep, so Friday seems like it’s the right delivery day.
I guess I’m just thinking that it’s over 30+ hours from the Fremont factory, so probably like 3 or 4 days with stops, especially at semi trailer speeds. Seems like it would be cutting it close. I’ll remain optimistic.

you can call your delivery specialist, now that you have a vin. They can see when it leaves the factory and when it’s on the truck. I did this. For me, it left the factory the same day I got the vin, and starting heading north a day and a half later.
I don't have a delivery specialist, I ordered online and have had zero contact beyond the text to schedule my delivery appointment online. But I'll call Monday to make sure everything's on schedule and I can make the appropriate arrangements for time off work Friday.

You just call the SC where your car is going to be delivered. They have already assigned you a delivery specialist. Whomever picks up the phone can answer the question as well. I ordered my online as well, not the showroom.

Tesla sent a text yesterday asking me to choose a delivery date this coming week! Ordered on 7/11 and got a 442xxx VIN.

Just scheduled my delivery for 7/27! Contacted the SA and got info that it's currently in transit from Fremont - so fresh off the factory (448xxx) Pearl White with Black LR AWD FSD Aero
Placed my order on 7/16 (was actually a re-order due to the price drop/color change). VIN showed up 7/19.
Meanwhile as I wait, I got my NEMA 14-50 setup done and bought a few accessories.

I think a lot has to do with your configuration and how common it is and when you order in their batch production cycle.

Hang in there! They do deliveries in batches based on regional demand. Mine actually arrived earlier than expected. Picking it up tomorrow now!
I'm in Houston, I doubt regional demand is much of a problem for a city of 6+ million people.
