I find it super dangerous for Hertz to still rent Tesla's to first time Tesla drivers. Imagine you are driving, starting to rain, and have to figure for the first time why car is not wipe. At least owners do know the button trick or can find wipers under 5 minutes in the menu

I am almost convinced now that Tesla is using weather data for some enthusiastic false wipes. Whenever there is a grey day with chance of rain, bit bone dry I get a false wipe. e.g. opening my garage door, going in drive -> wipe

Yes. BTW. I don't think Tesla NAV is on top of providing lane choice in general. But even if I am in the right lane, the last announcement is made when at turn. So, no time to safely turn or nut cutting off somebody.

Hi, I finally decided to tint my Tesla 3. It is dark grey with white interior. I am thinking to do side windows 35%. However, Not sure what to do with rear as it has already gradual tint. Trying to get some input from other owners who have gone through that process.

Sounds like my choices are either the Tesla charger or to install a stealth remote. I have done that in the past for an import car using a regular remote and wire a button to it. Granted in the Tesla woudl be a bit more difficult to wire. Actually, my best option might be in the phone charger...

Just completed my install on the wall charger with 3/4 EMT conduit, 6AWG hots and 8AWG ground. Interesting to observe that conduit actually gets warm. 60A circuit breaker even slightly hot when touched on front. Assuming this is expected?

I am in the process of installing my wall charger. I am using the bracket for top feed with conduit. I am running 3/4" conduit. The top knockout is meant for 1" conduit. Typically, I woudl be using a reducing washer. Just wondering what others are using given the plastic shell.

no. I have a license plate in the Tesla frame. Both attached to the car with 2 screws. I removed the two screws. Neither licenses plate of frame can be removed. Seem like there is a double sided tape between license plate and back plate.

The 8ft cable is going to be short at least 1ft in my setup. the 24ft is too long. Has anyone cut the 24" down?

it is the rear plate. Plate/frame is mounted with two screws. After removing the two screws frame/plate stay on even with a good pull.
