M3 Delivery experiance

So far it's been interesting, not good, not bad. I received an email saying it was built and en route to destination. I could pick it up or have it delivered, I chose picking it up and was told Tesla would pay for a enterprise rent a car because of how far away I was from pickup location. This all took place through emails and was a bit frustrating because a call or texting would have been much better than email. It takes up to 3 days to hear back from emails. If everything goes smoothly it will all be water under the bridge but I wished they had a chat page set up for those who have ordered.

Just got this email today:

Your MODEL 3 is still in transit with an ETA of 9/12. I want to confirm its there before we give you a specific time at the Service Center. I am working on your car reservation, and will send you reservation # as soon as we get verification it is there. Not too much longer.

Nothing wrong with this but it lacks any kind of warm fuzzy that you normally want to leave with the customer

I agree very frustrated I can never call my delivery specialist and her emails are vague and cryptic
So Tesla called me to schedule a final delivery, that was nice cause before that it was emails which are not very personable and take a couple days. They said they would pay for a rental car if I picked it up instead of having it delivered, and that was really nice, cause they checked enterprise rent a car website and it showed cars available and they went ahead and booked it and gave me a reservation number. So I went to enterprise and of course they had nothing available, not even within a 80 mile radius even though enterprise website showed they did have.
Make sure you call the actual place of business and do not trust enterprise website, I hope Tesla stops using them, because after this experience I certainly have.
