MagSafe Intall with USB-C 30 watt port

very interested to how you installed the 20w usb c chare port in your model s. I have a model 3 in the UK and wondered whether there is anything you've done that wouldnt be possible in the 3?

I have heard you can only get 15 W wireless if you are using a very specific Apple plug-in charger? Have you actually tested your wireless charging rate using “Amperes” or similar? What 12 V plug are using?

I installed a 36watt USB-C and USB-PD port connected to the MagSafe wireless charger.

Keep in mind that using the USB-C to lightning will still be significantly faster charging rate than the MagSafe

That is correct, 15W is the peak with the MagSafe Wireless, Lightning hardwired is faster. see video below:

I just 3d printed a new holder for the magsafe, now have it working great with my 12 pro max. Definitely faster charging! I am using 3 Aukey 30w flush mount USB C. I will try and post some pix, but clearly a speed upgrade so far...
