I have California vanity plates. My voluntarily increased registration fees go to the Children's Defense Fund. Silly me.

I don't like children.

I am considering the Tahoe plate because it pays for itself via a "free" lift ticket, but I'd still put a randomly chosen string of characters and not renew it the next year.

So I was thinking since my car is basically coal powered because I live in Ohio may as well get something like this... then I decided both Hard core ICE folks and environmental folks would probably read that as burning my car instead of coal.

I had to look up the license plate, I assumed "Friends of Coal" was a parody plate but it really exists.

I ran that through Ohio's custom plate system on the web and snipped the output.

I took delivery in Fremont 2 days ago--Multi-Coat Red/black interior Performance Model 3 with performance package. I have the legacy black/yellow CA plates on order with:

P3DPLUS

Takes 3-4 months to get the plates from the CA DMV.

Per my buddy's suggestion my Michigan plate is NOC8H18. To save everyone some time C8H18 is the chemical composition for Octane.
