Can anyone tell me if the Model 3 HVAC recirculation mode works well?
Does it only let you set it to recirculate for a short amount of time or does it stay in recirc mode if you tell it to?
On the Model S, you can make it stay in recirc most of the time, but it will randomly pop out of that mode whilst still showing it being in recirc (bug since v8.0). Kind of annoying, but not a huge deal. It usually pops out on starting the car, so I have the habit of going into hvac, clicking recirculate twice to make sure it's set properly.
I'm very sensitive to road fumes so I leave my cars on recirc all the time, and in some cars, it pops out after a certain amount of time and makes you reset it - drives me crazy.
