Model 3 premature front wheel bearing failure

Sorry for reviving an old thread folks but I thought I would add to the above.

I have a 21 plate TM3SR+ that was delivered in June 2021. Build time was around Jan 2021. I have had both bearings replaced today after 13,000 Miles.

Tesla have been great, but the idea of needing them replacing after 13k miles, is quite dissapointing.
Agreed. Either faulty batch of components or under spec‘d.

Oh yeah DUH. For some reason I had that as included in the Drive Unit Warranty but course...it wouldnt be would it. Ugh

Thats what I worry about with mine. 16 months old, nearly 20k on the clock. Won't be long before my basic warranty is out.

I had my front bearings replaced under warranty on my M3. The same noise returned after a bit over 20,000 km, after a trip from Toronto to Prince Rupert, through Prince George (where Mark came to my rescue with a CHAdeMO adapter). Have a service appointment booked. I don’t know if it’s covered by service warranty.
