Model 3 Reservation Question

For those that have been through the reservation process (S/X) would I be able to put a reservation in for a friend?

I plan on visiting the nearest Tesla store the day of the reveal and a friend asked me to put a deposit down for him.

The legal requirement is the name on the deposit is the one who signs the Reservation Agreement form (It does not matter who pays.)

So if you are there alone, the only one who can sign is not your friend, so your friend's name cannot be on the deposit form.

You can wait till 8:30 PDT and log into your friend's Tesla account online and the computer mouse click will certify that as your friend's electronic signature, not yours.
