OK, interesting. I suspect mine will be the same then. I suppose it doesn't really matter that is wasn't on the Cello, except I wasted how long following it's movements šŸ˜¢

And it does explain why we couldn't get our cars sooner. Perhaps they were originally meant to go on the Cello, hence when we got VINs and delivery dates but they ran out of time or space and they therefore had to go on a later ship?
Another thing the chat agent said was that they donā€™t expect any delays to our delivery date the only thing that could cause one now is extreme weather which is not forecast

Hoping the weather clears up slightly I really wanna drive mine back home over the Pennines but not sure about the summer tyres šŸ˜‚
Remember I live in the South so we panic and everything grinds to a halt at the mere mention of snow or at the start of October (depending on which comes first)...

I have a hybrid at the moment which has 4 wheel drive (when it decides to do it) with the engine powering the front wheels and the electric motor powering the back. Think I am going to miss that but the M3 AWD was too expensive for me.

More seriously, I did watch a couple of youtube videos about snow driving and the view seems to be put it in Chill mode and change it to Creep rather than Hold as this reduces the regen (which can lock the back wheels). You also have slip start so you can spin the wheels to get going if you need to.

I can always get home on the M62 itā€™s just the test drives I did were on motorways and dual carriageway predetermined routes and Iā€™d just like to experience some country roads in it.

Our other car is a 4x4 EV and itā€™s basically like a floating tank and we missed the sportier handling of our diesel sportback so hoping that this ends up being the best of both worlds

I think the area the wipers sit is now heated right?
Yes they are, but as an additional measure it looks like they suggest the below, which is what i've been doing as well (probably my "specialism" kicking in. šŸ™ƒ ) It does no harm and certainly will defrost the rubber. I've done it veryday since I picked up last Wednesday as it's been -umpteen since I got it šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

It takes 10 secs, if that, to do it when you're parked up for the night, so I thought, why not

Wipers

If you expect snow or ice to build up when parked, touch Controls > Service > Wiper Service Mode. This raises wipers against the windshield so they can defrost when the windshield defrosts (see Wipers and Washers). You can also turn on wiper defrosters (if equipped). See Climate Controls.
