Model 3 SR+ Subwoofer & Amp Install Appointment canceled due to OTA update?

Hey All,

So I found a very reputable car audio specialist in the Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA), named [Meece Car Audio](http://www.meececaraudio.com/)

After speaking with him and finding out his experience with tesla's I was comfortable getting my work done there. I had an appointment scheduled for next Friday but suddenly received a call today about how the Model 3 received an OTA update which hinders his installation process? I'm like uhhh... is there any more details so I can research a bit on my own? They didn't give me anything to go on.

My question is, has anyone heard about anything like this? Are they blowing smoke up my ass or do they just not want to do the job?

There was some change in how the car deals with 12V. I am not into aftermarket audio in cars, but perhaps thats it?

Unless you think they dont want your money for some reason, why would you think they would have scheduled your job, then "made up" something to cancel it?

Tbh i dont know? could be anything? maybe because i didn't go with their specific recommendations on what exact sub or amp they wanted to buy for me? not assuming anything just more curious if the community has heard of any OTA updated to our 3's that could mess with the install.
