Was driving down to London and noticed that I had a crack in the windscreen (passenger side)
Can’t remember a stone hitting it or any other contact.
On arrival at my destination, I popped the frunk and it appears that a piece of trim from inside has come loose under the wiper and lodged (I compared to the drivers side) itself against the bottom of the windscreen which has then, in turn) put pressure on the windscreen and cracked it when the wipers came on.
I have attached some photos for clarity.
Anyone else had this happen ?
It’s impossible for a stone or any other oncoming projectile to hit where it has initially cracked as this position is below the bonnet.
Would welcome feedback
