Model S IS perfect for the Winter

All the people saying that RWD is fine in winter live in the flats-- where I imagine it is fine. If you live on a hill, AWD is what you need.

I have quite the hill up to my cabin in the mountains here in Norway. Usually it's plowed when I'm going there, but not always. Sometimes I have to negotiate up to 10" of new snow.

In my experience 2WD with chains is better in these conditions than 4WD without. So I always buy a set if quality German snow chains for my cars. I just got a set of RUDmatic Disc for the Tesla, cost me €300+shipping.
