Model X frunk release dead

Has anyone else had their frunk release die?

Either mine is frozen (will try a gentle hairdryer revival later) or it’s kaput.

[Painful given I need to refill the screen-wash, so it’s a manual splash and wipe at the moment. Tiresome in the slush]

I had this on my M3 and had to pour quite hot water all around the edges of the frunk. Not sure if same applies to the X, but a fan heater did nothing on the M3 frunk.
