Some various pics of the X over the couple days I saw it at the store. No particular editing or grouping, just sort of a dump of photos for anyone wanting more X to peruse. I still effin love that dash (the wood and the screen setup - even though the wood looks odd in pics). Also still love the two-tone seats and pattern. We'll see if that, and the cupholders in the doors make it to production next year.

I'm thinking they will have to do something about that middle mid row seat if they plan to keep front center cup holders. Maybe a cup holder that converts to footrest? Or shoes that you can put cups on ...

Design and engineering prototypes are combined in a way that ICE makers just can't do. Tesla has a distinct advantage in getting to market as shown that we could all ride in the X and S at their debuts. From here it just gets better.

I think that seat was pushed way forward to show how dynamic the seating is. They were moving them back and forth a bit during the demo.

+1. I'm very excited about the X - amazing that the prototype is this finished and amazing we could take a spin in it at the launch. Can't wait to see what they do over the next year with it.

Agreed. GeorgeB said that from here we won't see any more "builds" since now they're working on the actual dimensions, wind tunnel tests etc. At this point, it's all clay model work before they even get near full builds again. As I understand it, aside from the roller that was at the reveal, this guy is the only one out there.

And thank you Eric for getting me in :-D

A middle seat that moves all the way up like that is a major selling point for a Mom whose infant is in a car seat. From that position she can lean and touch the baby - something not possible in the left or right seat.

Honda considers it a major selling point for their Odyssey:

I will have three kids in car seats by the time my X is ready. The three seats moving independently is a big plus. What I am hoping is that any or all of the seats can be removed if you want. I think it would be great if you could remove just the middle second row seat and have two captains chairs in the middle and then the third row bench.

Can't wait to see the next version and I am hoping that the X ends up with a bit more edge. Compare the nose of the S and X from the side for example.

I am also hoping that we get bigger batteries, say 100 kwh and 85 kwh as opposed to 85 and 60. This way we could match the range of the S.

Oh, and storage. I need proper storage designed from the start. Not "opportunity" afterthought....
