Model X transporter on the road

Traveling on I5 from the San Francisco area to a bit south of Los Angeles today, I saw three transporters with Teslas: two of them were all S, and the one in this photo was only X. First time I've seen that. On such trips I often see at least one transporter full of Teslas.

I would of thought to see more white tape on the open carriers. I have certainly seen more tape on cars coming out of the closed truck transporters when I spied them at the delivery site in Denver a few months ago. Seems worrisome for road debris damage. Yikes!

I once managed an autohaul fleet for a major trucking company. There's nothing better than a veteran driver. To minimize damages. Short of wrapping it to a level that the driver couldn't safely drive the car to load it, more 'tape' isn't going to help much. VW , Audi & Subaru use a tyvek cover, which is better, but even then damages happen.
