Frunk of the Model 3. Plenty of crumple zone.

Is anyone here concerned that by moving the front seats forward to improve overall seating for the car, the m3 will have a reduced crumple zone up front and thus be less safe?

I wonder how much forward they moved the seats.

The problem with moving the seat forward in a conventional car is you end up with an 800 pound block of aluminum and iron in your lap in the event of a front end collision. Electric cars don't suffer from that. Even with the seats relatively closer to the front of the car, there is ample room to deal with collision forces.

Tesla says the car is designed to get 5 star crash ratings in every category and there's no reason to think that won't be the case.
