Mud Flaps Help??

Would mud flaps help at all?? Holy hell...

Yes; the Tesla front mud flaps help but for more complete protection add the Tesla paint protection film (PPF) kit for the rear doors (the PPF covers most of the area showing damage in the video.) You can also have an installer add PPF on the lower part of the entire front and rear doors. Lots of choices and styles of mud flaps now. Rear mud flaps if you like the look but the protection comes from the front mud flaps. Just search the forum and you will find several threads on mud flaps for the Model Y.

Definitely also recommend the PPF as I've seen posts where people are still getting some chips with only the mud flaps. I installed both about 1 month ago...after I had some chips (not as bad as yours or others I've seen) after 6 months and 4,600 miles driving in the Boston area and New England.

I installed the BASENOR Mud flaps on all 4 wheel wells on the same week I got the car.

Will be adding PPF soon for the extra added protection.
