Hi,

I noticed shrieking sound when switching between park and drive. It doesn't sound normal but want to double check if anyone experienced the same thing?

That is the automatic parking brake setting and releasing, when you shift into, and out of, Park.

Good to know, Tesla has a page in their owners manual with examples of normal operating noises:
Normal Operating Sounds
Your sound is listed under " While Parked -> Mechanical Enable/Disable Thumping Sound"

Thanks all, since I read some bad news about what happened after such noise, I brought into service anyway for checking brake and breaking applying. Glad to inform everything's normal.
