I'd like to put a ski/snowboard rack on my new MX. I've researched in these forums and elsewhere. Seems like the main option is the Yakima Tilt or Full Swing plus the Thule Project Tram Hitch Ski Carrier. However, I've seen some comments in threads on the forum that the Thule Ski Carrier doesn't fit that well on the Yakima Full Swing (which is the one I'm interested in)? Has anyone used this combo successfully?
Are there any other options? I really like the Kuat hitch-mounted bike racks. I am open to using one of those during the late spring, summer, and fall and then a separate ski rack during the winter.
I want easy accessibility to the hatch, that's one of the most important factors. Thanks.
