Can someone please explain to me about some of the deliveries? A few post down someone had one delivered to them at a rest stop, I heard someone had it delivered to the back of a Wal-Mart.
I don't understand this why would this be happening instead of picking it up at the store??

Some states (notably Michigan) don't allow direct to consumer new car sales which cut out franchise dealerships.

I live over 5 hours from the nearest store so they offered to deliver to my house. The driver of the semi noted my street may be difficult so suggested we meed at a larger parking lot a mile from my house. I got lucky and received a well put together car with no defects. Of course, after traveling 300 miles on a semi it was not showroom clean ...
