MY Matrix Lights vs Reflector Lights? Did Tesla get it right?

I've read "general" reviews about matrix vs reflector.
It sounds like "if done correctly, one would always want the matrix style".
Is Tesla's current implementation great, or should one go with reflector until they get it right?
Then I see some are doing laser headlights - I won't hold my breath for these, but hope they become standard.
Hopefully matrix are under warranty with the rest of the car as one has to replace the entire module, if what I'm reading is correct.

If you can get one with matrix headlights do so. Their functionality can always be updated via software. If you get reflectors, you’ll just have to buy a whole new car whenever they add proper matrix functionality.

Even if the matrix functionality never gets activated, the matrix headlights are still better overall. Because of the projector design, you get a more controlled beam that is wider, projects longer and puts more of the light where you need it.
