MY vs M3 WiFi placement

Just had my MYLR delivered to replace my M3, never had a problem connecting to WiFi before but can't even find the WiFi in the MY. Connects fine on my phone - is the MY WiFi receiver in a different place or not as good?

I believe the antennas are located at the top of the windscreen where the sun visors are, compared to the roof bar on the 2021-2023 M3s.

…and wing mirrors on earlier Model 3s. Think the WiFi one was on the passenger side, LTE on both.

I find the Wi-Fi signal twice as strong on my MY as the previous M3. Around 40 Mbps compared to 20 Mbps for the 3.

Seems to suggest it's on the rear structural cross-member just in front of the rear glass.

It was in the wing mirrors until some time in 2021, maybe even late 2020, where it moved to the headliner.
