My windshield camera assembly doesn't make a seal with the windshield. Is this bad?

Today Tesla Mobile came and replaced my 2016 Model X's cameras in order to support FSD. After they left I found that there's a visible gap between the edge of the camera assembly and the windshield and it moves if I press on it.

Is a tight seal necessary for anti-fogging reasons? Is this just a cosmetic issue? I don't know if the camera assembly itself moves when I press on it, but if so I'd imagine that would adversely affect assisted driving since the camera alignment would change.

Anyone have this happen to them? What was the outcome? Thanks!

Are you sure they even touched that camera? I don't know if there are different versions of it between HW2 & HW3. Regardless, a gap across the bottom is normal, presumably for the very anti-fogging reasons you're concerned about (if it was sealed against the windshield, moisture would be trapped inside).
