MYP lease pickup Friday - can I wait to pay the upfront fees?

My pickup is Friday and hoping that I can wait to pay the upfront fees til I check out the car and make sure I don’t need to refuse delivery. Is this an option still or will they eventually push my pickup date back?

I assume that you had no issues. I'm picking up tomorrow and still have the "Upfront payment" pending (I just ordered the MYP yesterday, Friday).

I plan to pay after I visually inspect the exterior of vehicle. In CA historically they will not open the vehicle until you have completed the purchase process.

I think it’s based on the delivery center. I’ve been to Fremont and Stockton and they’ve let me inspect the inside of the car. When I picked up my 3 in Sacramento they wouldn’t let me look inside the car before accepting delivery.

No, it was this way for my financed purchase back in 2021 as well (that was Irvine, CA this weekend I picked up a MYP in Long Beach and it was the same situation).

I was allowed to inspect my 2022 MSLR at my leisure before paying and accepting the car. This was at Camarillo, CA.
