Well it gets better folks. I am not sure the first puncture is going all the way through. After inspecting the tire further I think I found a more likely source of my leak. The first one looks like a tack of some sort. The 2nd is a screw in the center of the tread. Good news is that if a new tire is needed its 100% covered by continental 12 month total confidence warranty since its within the first 2/32nd of tread. I have 8/32nds on these tires after 5,000 miles.

What tire center/retailer is going to honor the Continental Total Confidence Warranty? Does the warranty cover road hazard damage or just defects in manufacturing?
Tire Pros ...it covers road hazards for the first 12 months or 2/32nd of tread wear. Any continental gold dealer should honor it.

I pulled out the one close to sidewall and I am not losing any pressure. The screw in the center of the tread has to be the source of the slow leak.
