National Grid: ConnectedSolution no more? Or I'm misreading it

Just got the email saying "... on 9/31 dispatch season ended". Is this end of season email or something else? I don't remember getting this last year.

Not sure but I think it maybe just seasonal?

It's the end of the season. I think they sent it to get ahead of the "where's my check" inquiries.

Connected Solutions is summer-only, at least in MA. That said, as a person with Tesla solar and a Powerwall on order who is also enrolling in Connected Solutions for next year and given the electric supply tightness ISO New England is expecting this winter due to natural gas woes, I'm kind of surprised that there isn't talk/interest of adding a winter season too. It may be that power problems in the summer tend to be confined to a very few hours in the afternoon, while winter shortages tend to last several days, accompanying the more severe cold spells. That and perhaps people don't want to let their KWh out given the shorter solar generation days of winter.

MA (Nat Grid) used to have a winter season. I enrolled in 2020 and had 1 winter event in January 2021. Wound up with a $240 check for 1 event.
