I see that Tesla Navigation does NOT let you avoid highways. Can anybody suggest a work around solution? For example, can I project my phone onto the Tesla screen? There must be a way
This is a surprising and disappointing shortcoming in Tesla Navigation, it never occurred to me that it would not have this option until late one night I needed to use it and it wasn't there, I ended up using the navigation on my phone but I hope that Tesla add the feature some time soon.
It seems like an obvious need for electric cars besides the general site seeing reasons. There have definitely been a few times where I needed to drive slower (below 50 MPH) to conserve range. Shortest route in distance and not time is another option that is needed.
