The car I got in Jan has AMDDoes the model y that you took delivery of in January have the Intel Atom processor or the AMD Ryzen?
Same here, I believe it's due to the recall. Hope they get it fixed soon.I received a notification that my window was open and I tried to close them from the control screen and it wouldn't allow it either.
Same here: Just took delivery on a 2023 model y today (November 27th) and i'm also missing the Close on Lock featureJust took delivery on a model y today (September 24th) and i'm also missing the Close on Lock feature
The worst is the summer to come I fear. My 22'MYP cooks in the sunshine and without vent windows the a/c wastes valuable battery to insure the safety of the mcu. Very upsetting, I don't want tint on the front because without it provides extra solar heating in the winter. Vent window was a necessity, I'm planning to sell mine before the warranty ends for this reason. This car absolutely needs to have what every modern vehicle with large computer dashboards needs, to be viable, passive cooling.Sept 22, 2022. Tesla announced a recall for 1.1million vehicles. Auto window close could pinch a person's fingers. NHTSA safety standard for power operated window systems.
Check out insideevs.com September 22, 2022. Recall reported by a number of news outlets.
It is not for the safety of the MCU. (The main purpose is for if a pet/child is left in the vehicle. But they don't state that likely because of liability reasons.)My 22'MYP cooks in the sunshine and without vent windows the a/c wastes valuable battery to insure the safety of the mcu.
Thanks for reporting back with this info.Talked with Tesla service and they said this feature is disabled due to a firmware issue, and per their reply, it doesn’t sounds Tesla will bring it back in near future - “ This feature is no longer available” .
Did you have it and it got taken away? Or did you get a new vehicle without the features?I might be late to this since I just ran into the auto-close window myself. Love the vent feature that is on my 3 but due to regulations, venting and auto close are gone. Federal regulations force Tesla to nix automatic window closure and app control options from its cars
On my 2020 Model 3 LR is still there on ver.2022.44.30.5 but on my 2023 Model X on ver. 2022.44.30 was delivered without the feature.Did you have it and it got taken away? Or did you get a new vehicle without the features?
