Bringing this thread back to life since I just found out the feature has been removed based on this thread. Why would Telsa leave the option in the Manual but remove it from the vehicle without communication that it's been removed? This sounded like a great feature to have. :(

I agree with you all. I have a Civic Hatchback that also has a retracting cargo cover that I wish was on my Y too. Unfortunately, I may just leave it off because it's always in the way. :(

I received delivery on my MYLR last week that came with a cargo cover and the biggest complaint I have with it is that it's not easy to move it out of the way. It folds in a Z shape but doesn't stay in place. It slowly slides back making it frustrating to load things in the back. Anyone else...

Do the front windows match the the back windows? From the pictures they still look a little lighter in the front. My goal is to have the front windows match the back windows but still have UV/IR protection all around.

So rebooted the MY and changed my guest WiFi to only be on 2.4gHz and got a connection. I'll monitor and see how well it does reconnecting.

I'm going to bring this thread back to life. I just took delivery last week (Nov 2, 2022) and was only able to connect via WiFi once. My router is within line of sight and I even tried to tether my phone but the Y couldn't detect a signal. Lately, I've seen the WiFi signal say "Initializing"...

Definitely a lot of unknowns, especially how much of the $7500 tax credit will be eligible because of of where Telsa's battery materials originate. Last I've read, it'll only be 75% of the $7500. Good luck to those who decide to wait!

I had a feeling that if I didn't receive a VIN two days before the EDD that it would get pushed again, and here we are with a new 2 week window: Nov 3 - Nov 17. At least this time, the EDD is closer. Previously, the updated EDD would be another 2 weeks out.

My understanding is the tax credit applies to when the vehicle is ordered. I would imagine since the Order Date in the Order Agreement is in 2022, it will not apply if the tax credit goes in affect in 2023. You would need to actually order the vehicle in 2023.

Curious to know if you received a text or an alert when you received your VIN. Or any other alerts prior to receiving your VIN to give you a heads-up that it was going to be assigned soon. I've read in other threads that there are text alerts that go out when the vehicle has finished being built...

Originally it was May 15th. But I made a couple updates to my order (paint, wheels) and so the order date in the latest Order Agreement was changed to June 3, 2022.

Exactly what happened to me. Went 2 week window updated a couple times, then to a 1 month window, now back to 2 weeks again.

I tell myself not to get worked up when the EDD is updated, but here we are. It updated again and is back to a two week window. Oct 28-Nov 11. :)
