Please need expert help for new key fob situation...
We lost key fob #1 for our 2018 X 100D, ordered a new fob from Tesla SC in Buena Park, CA but...
The 1st tried they programmed it as mirror to the existing fob #2 so no driver profile can assign to it as the car doesn't show the new fob at all.
2nd tried they programmed another brand new one and it shows as 3rd key fob. This time a new driver profile can assign to it. Everything works BUT the auto present door won't open when approaching (the original existing fob #2 works fine.) They took 4 days for this job and had the fob #2 with them the whole time.
This Saturday I was at a new SC (Long Beach, CA) from 9am til 3pm but they can not figured it out, I end up on a loaner now til end of Tuesday as estimated.
IDK what could be done here as I'm exhausted... any experts here please give me some advice that might help the "engineer" at SC. TIA
