I suspect that Highland M3s will arrive sooner rather than later, but Tesla wants to burn through inventory first. It seems unlikely that Tesla M3 production in China would be split between the old and new models.

yup - there's a reason Tesla have discounted all inventory M3's in North America...move those first then bring in the Highland M3

My suspicion as to why they offered the FSD transfer was because they forecasted a massive deop in Q3 sales. This is probably due to an upcoming re-tooling of the Fremont factory to support the Highland redesign. If we saw the redesigned units being sold in NA by Q4 2023 I would be very surprised.
