Note, almost all of the screen protectors out there for Model 3 are tempered glass, not plastic. It's not really to protect from impacts, more from scratches, and some have coatings that make it so fingerprints don't show up as easily. Plus as you mention you can get ones that help with glare.I don't understand the need for a screen protector. It's thin plastic, not armor, so it won't protect from impacts. Maybe if I wore a ring with a stone I'd be worried about scratches. The only benefit I see would be possibly to reduce glare which can be a problem.

Silver performance pedals. They’re inexpensive and easy to install and make the inside of the car look sportier.
Debating if I want the garage door opener as I'm not sure if it's worth $300 (should have come standard).
I have a 2018 so it came with Homelink and I have to say it might just be my favorite feature of the entire car. Just the fact that it automatically opens and closes my garage door as I leave and arrive is so awesome. I know it's inconsequential compared to Autopilot etc, but for some reason I just love it.
I installed mine with no issues. it does take a little time and some patience. Best to do it on a hot day as it makes the rubber a little softer. Leave them out in the sun for an hour before installing. Strong fingers also help!Easy to install? Do you know a trick because everything I read and even videos I've seen it seems like a royal PIA, primarily the accelerator pedal.

Oh neat - I knew it would pop up on the screen automatically, but didn't know about the open/close thing. How far away do you have to go for it do to that? If you're not going far (say car wash in the driveway), will it close?
