New style supercharger!

My son just sent this picture. A two post supercharger under construction to accommodate vehicles pulling trailers. In Black River Falls, Wisconsin.

Tesla is on a tear building facilities with three new ones under construction here in Milwaukee County, WI.

This is great - more of this! I don’t pull a trailer, but I often carry bikes on a hitch mount, and it’s real tricky getting backed up close enough to plug in.

That's cool, but ideally, any new pedestals should all be pull-thru, to accommodate trailers and all sorts of new receptacle locations as Tesla opens up the network to other mfrs' vehicles.

Tesla has applied for permits to build 12 charging stalls at 3734 Constellation Road. This is in the Vandenberg Village area, just outside of Lompoc city limits. Nice location right off Highway 1 - shopping center has a number of food/coffee options, and a newly renovated...

Maybe also the choice of this type of layout was made to help the use a Snowplow in winter.
This is also the way the Tesla Superchargers are installed in some nordic countries, like Norway,

That arrangement is not uncommon. I'm not really a fan. As in the post you referenced, I've seen these at lots with diagonal parking. It's actually a bit challenging to get the connector plugged in and then have room to maneuver around the vehicle with another one right next to you.
