Is there actually an official Tesla New Zealand Owners Club, according to this page there isn't one in New Zealand.

There’s an Australian TOCA that is quite active. I’m a member but have no role in the running or administration of TOCA.

I understand that Tesla supports local owners clubs, but it’s up to a group of local owners to approach Tesla.
if you’re interested in starting your own TOCNZ contact the committee through their website at TOCA and they may be willing to take you through the process.

Unfortunately the facebook one is a closed group. As a non-facebook user, I feel a little disenfranchised!

Happy to have found that this group has an active NZ participation.

Is official as far as I'm aware.

I used to be a member but left. The same old questions getting repeated and people posting BS is boring.

As I understand it the Facebook group is officially recognised by Tesla though. They have regular(ish) meetings and communication.

I think the website used to have an application form you could fill out.
Then they they would make contact via email.
