I don't understand what the $250 order means on their website vs the $100 I already paid to "order" in the past.

$80k for Dual Motor is a bit much. The F-150 Lightning FLASH Extended Range is $72k. They also added a heat pump finally. At that price, the Cybertruck is a hard sell for me.

Yeah, but the Lightning takes a double-take to distinguish it from any other F-150. The Cybertruck won't be mistaken for any other automobile.

Franz’s baseball throw was pathetically entertaining. Musk was not prepared for this presentation. The prices are about what I expected, though I suspected the beast build would’ve been higher priced. Still way higher than originally announced. I’m with the TMC crew on that there’s a chance the RWD never makes it to market.

This vehicle is for people who want attention; not for practical use.

Saw the truck in person last weekend. have to say in person it is amazing in many ways. The launch event was not good at all. Poorly executed overall and was very disappointing. They had 4 years to prepare and it looked like they prepped for 4 hours

Personally, I find the goofs in Tesla's events refreshingly real compared to perfect, scripted presentations - it's like laughing even harder when SNL comedians break character.

I saw a vid on youtube this morning some guy walking around outside and they had a black-wrapped one and it looked realllllly nice:

I am not surprised with the price increase. What hasn't gone up since 2019? That sucks. There was an ICE vehicle that I though I can get a few years back but it has seen priced itself beyond of my budget.
