"Range Rovers to electric vehicles using a "state-of-the-art" drivetrain good for 200 miles on a single charge"

So much for that extra luggage space!

Ya know, there was another thread here somewhere that discussed this car. Particularly how funny looking it is. But of course it's near impossible to find by searching for "NICE".

    Edit:
Finally managed to find it by searching for "NICE" and "funny". Threads merged.

Makes that new location seem a a desparate last ditch effort.

Perhaps someone will buy up their assets and go with some of their models. The MyCars on order were supposed to be delivered this month.

It may have been, but the fall of the Pound against the Euro and Dollar has caught a lot of people out. It could well have been they ended up paying more for their imports than they were selling them for here.

I was on their waiting list for a drive of the electric Fiat 500. That was supposed to be in August but I didn't hear anything by the end of that month, so I emailed them then and was told it would be arriving very soon. That was the last I heard from them, unfortunately.

Which comment in particular? Could it be the "Get with the times old man..."?

Check the first link. I think he meant: "Comment by kent beuchert — August 4, 2008"

Yeah, keep reading. The funny comment was in response to him.

Yes that was what I meant. But this Tony seems a bit anti-green to be reading a green car website too. Another pseudonim?

Aixam Mega takes over NICE Car Company - AutoblogGreen

I saw one of these in London for the first time last week. I felt pretty sorry for its owner - so this is good news. The car looks a lot better than that picture when you see it "inn person". Much better than the G-Wizz, it looks like a proper little town car.

Its a shame you never got to try the NICE 500, I see it almost every day, parked behind a scrap metal dumpster! Luckily she was just the first of many...
