Not getting updates

I've had my new 85D for over 3 weeks and seem to be stuck on 2.12.126. Looks like there have been several updates since then. Is this normal?

Completely normal, I've gone stretches of 3-4 months without an update.

Only updates considered to be "major" or immediately necessary for the fleet seem to be pushed out en masse. Otherwise, you just wait with the rest of us.

My last update was 2.12.126 on Feb. 26.

I received 2.12.126 at the SC in late Feb. Last OTA update was in late Jan. Nothing at all in March.

But prior to this, I seemed to receive an update at least every three or four weeks. This lack of updates seems strange to me but I am told it is normal.

I used to feel rather left out when I didn't get updates.

But, now it's apparent that there are major releases (on the firmware tracker these are almost immediately noticeable), and there are minor updates. The minor updates look like they're isolated to a few test cases.

I never get the minor ones unless it's something specific to my car/configuration.
