Odd problem

I don't know if it is related to the latest upgrade but I suddenly cannot hear the click of the turn signal and neither can my wife. Is this a setting?

have you try reboot, I got this issue months ago, reboot fixes it.

Mr. Jim, you did not say what year your X is so I will assume its a '16. Loss of sound of the turn signals is one of the signs that the MCU's eMMC is failing. Before you worry - a lot, watch for some of the other signs listed here

Have you made sure that Joe Mode didn't turn on on its own? Or, have you tried turning it off and on again, if it's off? Joe Mode will set a number of chimes and tones, including the turn signal, to minimal volumes (in some cases, they can't be heard if you're speaking to someone, listening to music, or, even driving, depending on road noise and vibrations)

It is a mid-18

Hmmm, Mid 18 would have MCU2 and not likely to be as prone to the eMMC issues as earlier. So, My offering does not apply, I think.

Sounds like the MCU needs to be rebooted.
