Option codes for March 2019 SR+ show HW2.5, 75 kWh battery

I just managed to look up the option codes for my SR+ delivered this month. Here's the full set:

I haven't been able to find a set of LEMUR option codes to compare this to, but BT37 is supposed to stand for a 75 kWh battery. This does contain some previously unseen codes for things we know are limited in the +, like AU3P is presumably the Partial Premium audio.

I think it's much more likely this a recycled option code than an SR+ actually containing a massive, software-locked battery. Still interesting.

Yeah, those option codes have been known to be inaccurate. I wouldn't infer anything based on them.

To follow up on this, I did find a LEMUR owner to share his option codes and they are identical.

Can anyone with an LR share their option codes? I'm wondering now if all Model 3s share the same option codes.

These are the option codes for my car as reported by the API.

I wasn't implying the SR would ever have a 75 kWh battery, and I thought sharing the option codes from a new car would be useful information. We've already learned now that the SR+ and the LEMUR share option codes. That in itself is interesting.

Weigh the car. There's a couple hundred pounds difference between an SR and LR battery pack. There's no reason an LR battery couldn't be software locked to SR capacity, if that's all they had available on the assembly line at the time.

As others mentioned above, the option codes on the Model 3 aren't actuate. The API does work for the S and X.

It is, on Model X at a minimum...but it's APH4, not the APH3 this car reported.

APH4 is correct. Backlog of S/X. Very possible they are getting HW3 first due to slow roll out.

Yup, there's at least one video of an X owner having taken recent delivery and physically confirming HW3 (by catalog PN) is in their car.
