Car had accident after 2 months in service in Palo Alto and was only driven 3,300 miles. I purchased the car as a project from a dealer in California that bought it from Tesla. The car accident was on the drivers right hand front and was professionally repaired (pics available). The battery had a minor hit and is being professionally repaired by a hybrid/battery shop specializing in Teslas in Santa Monica. It has cost me over $25,000 to date to repair the car back to factory, utilizing only factory parts.

Yes, Tesla will work on these cars, after inspection. I received a call from Tesla service in Sep' 2014 Van Nuys, CA informing me of a policy change from Tesla headquarters allowing them to service salvaged cars.
