I have root access to the MCU2. I don't have any trouble connecting to it. I may not have the gateway sorted.

Can't get redeploy to proceed with MCU2 in car. Been a few months since I tried last, but as I recall, couldn't get the gateway to pull the HWIDs or something to that effect. Pulled the LCD from my IC2 to repair leaky IC1 and waiting on new LCD from china before I try again. Maybe December.

Did this repair today. One of my clips was totally gone in the middle and the other 3 broke when I removed them. Had to dig the ends of the clips out of the struts with a pick.

Paramus SC has a parts desk. Nobody responds to emails or voicemails there, so I just walk in and order at the desk. Kind of annoying to drive an hour there and find parts are not in stock though.

Followup: Over a year later, I dropped a screw into the fender (between the fender and the wheel liner). Pulled the wheel liner to fetch the screw, and what do I find? My 10mm snap-on socket. A little rusty, but it cleaned up ok.

Just steps 1-4 (and I've been using a white lithium grease, maybe the Klubersynth 44-702 would work better). The 4 screws holding the glass on are one time use, so need to replace those if you take the glass off. Maybe next time I'll do that.

No SD slot on my MCU1. (Lined up a 1.5 behind it so you can see where it would be.) The gateway SD card is in the same place on MCU1, just you have to disassemble the MCU to get it in and out.

I'm pulling my MCU1 this weekend to swap the tegra, so I'll check for the slot. I'll take a picture of the SD card too, while I have it out.

Pull frunk, check the plastic tubes running from the comrpessor. They commonly rub up against poorly-secured wires and eventually they wear through and leak. Can be fixed with some epoxy. Not sure if that would apply to your situation, but it only takes 10 minutes to look so why not.

Don't know the details of your case, but DV is available in every state. NY is no exception.

How old/how many miles? Mine took less QP damage on a similar hit. Car was 4 months old. Got 10k DV for it.
