P85D purchasers: How many only got it because it was the only D you could get in 2014

I'm wondering how many amongst us would have opted for anow 85D if they could have received it by the end of the year?

How many extra P85Ds did they sell by only offering that car by December 2014?

I, for one, did not want to wait until February (which could've easily rolled into March, in my mind) to get my car. I had pulled the trigger on an 85 the day before the D was announced after holding out for an AWD option for so long (clearly not paying attention to tweets and tech blogs that week) with December delivery. I swapped for a P85D that weekend since it was the only AWD Model S I could get in the same time frame. I had already spent months thinking weighing the pros and cons of an 85 v a P85, the December delivery just ended up being the tipping point.

My original order was a P85. I would have considered ordering a 85D instead of the P85D if I could have received it in December. For the Poll, you need to add "I would have considered the 85D".

By throwing the expiration of Green into the mix, they had me in the bag; I was in line for an 85D first.
