I just got confirmation that my PA State EV Rebate was processed. However, on July 1st 2019, PA reduced the amount from $1750 to $1500. I purchased the car on 6/24 and submitted the application (for $1750) immediately after I got my registration in the mail (after July 1st) but am being told that the rebate will only be $1500 rather than $1750. The PA website doesn't state if its based on purchase date or not, it does however state that you have up to 6 months from purchase to submit the application but funds may run out prior.
Does anyone else have this experience? Other PA residents may want to keep this in mind... you may not get the amount listed on the website at the time of purchase.
