Hi
I picked up a new Model 3 this week, however upon collection noticed a scratch on the rear panoramic roof. It's a couple of centimetres long but noticeable to my wife. This was pointed out to the Tesla staff member who agreed it was a scratch and to raise a service request. A detailer also looked at it at the time thinking it was just sticky from the covering during transport but couldn't get it off.
I've now raised a service request and Tesla has agreed to replace the glass free of charge.
However, I'm unsure whether replacing the factory-fitted panoramic roof for such a small scratch is a good idea. After replacement, I don't want more issues with potential leaks or damage caused by replacing the glass.
I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this or has any thoughts?
Thanks
