Parking Brake Locked UP

Got a warning the other day that "the parking brake did not engage and vehicle may roll". In fact, I got another message "parking brake fault" on the upper dash. As it turns out, the brake was actually locked up. It did free up a few times and I started driving it, but got the warning again and it seemed that the parking brake was locking up while I was driving. Called Tesla and they wanted me to drive it to the SC. I called again today and had them tow it to the SC. Hope to know soon what the deal was.
I have a 2015 P85D.

There was a recall on the parking brake for some cars, the problem was a small plastic gear which could break and leave the brake locked on. I don't remember which years it affected, but my mid-2016 facelift model S was one, so it could have extended back into 2015.

The good news is that it's a fast fix. The mobile service guy did the recall outside my office in about an hour.

Geez, I think I totally posted this to the wrong place. I meant for it to go into Model s problems

towed to SC. Called me within an hour to say that it was fixed. It seems that a cable or connection on the right rear brake came unseated as they said to me.
